Looking for a great local hike close to your apartment in San Diego?

Many of the local hikers can't stop talking about Iron Mountain! There are a bunch of great hikes in San Diego but this is definitely a great one to try out this weekend, since we are going to have another really great weekend of nice weather and it’s close to your apartment at Solterra!

North San Diego County's Iron Mountain thrusts it s conical summit nearly 2700 feet above sea level, frequently well above the low-lying coastal haze. On many a crystalline winter day, the summit offers a sweeping, 360-degree panorama from glistening ocean to blue mountains and back to the ocean again. Access to the summit - by foot, horse, or mountain bike - is now afforded by a key link in the City of Poway's ever-expanding multi-use trails system
