Look no further than the Carlsbad Flower Fields!!

For over 60 years the Carlsbad flower fields have been one of the most scenic destinations for San Diegans in the spring. The fields are located off of the 5 freeway about 15 minutes north west of Solterra and as you can see from the picture above offer beautiful views of the pacific ocean and over 50 acres of giant tecolote ranunculus flowers. Growing up in San Diego the Flower fields were always a symbol in my family that spring had finally arrived, the fields are open to the public only in March and April. After a fun filled afternoon checking out the beautiful views from the fields you can always head into Carlsbad for fun and possibly even a beach day! Pricing for admission into the flower fields will run at about 11 dollars for adults and 6 dollars for children 3-10.
