Are you looking for a close dog park for your furry friends? Our sister community across the street, Scripps Landing is in the process of possibly installing a dog park that all of our Solterra residents would be able to use. While this news has many Solterrans excited the project is still in the early stages. In the meantime I have been recommending the Rancho Penasquitos leash free dog park which is a short drive from Solterra Ecoluxury apartments. A weimaraner that frequents the treat station in the office named Ruger recently checked it out and had a great time. In addition to Ruger's approval this park is one of my beagle's favorite haunts. The area features two large areas segregated for large and small breed dogs and can get a little busy in the afternoons after pet owners get off of work (which makes for great doggie play time) This park is located at Salmon River Rd, San Diego, CA 92129 in Rancho Penasquitos.
